Drew was the VIP yesterday at preschool, which means a parent goes with him to help and provides a snack for him and his classmates. He also gets to bring a few show and tell items. This was his second time as VIP, the first being back in September. Back then, he was pretty clingy to me and not very responsive to his teacher or friends....this time was TOTALLY different! He is amazing! He did two very impressive things....first, his teacher asks each kid to spell their names in the morning, and he rattles of D-R-E-W like he has been doing it all along. I had no clue he could spell his name!!!!! Then later, I was working with the kids on a little activity, and at the end, I asked the group if they wanted me to write their names on their paper...two of the kids said they could. So then I asked Drew if he wanted me to, and he proceeded to WRITE his name. He was concentrating so hard....and all the letters were facing the right direction. I did not know he could do this either!!! What a little smartie pants! He did great at school and is so polite and respectful to his teachers and his friends. I loved watching him interact. I'm just amazed at all that he is learning and makes it a little scary because the kid pays attention to everything...then asks about it later. Makes me very careful with the TV, radio, conversations, etc... He is growing up into a great little boy! What a doll!!!!

Spring Cleaning...

I think the itch is setting's time to get busy cleaning! I was actually pretty productive this's amazing what I get done when I don't nap when the boys do! I cleaned out our coat closet. It isn't just a coat closet...I store our DVD's and CD's and Video Games in it...along with TV trays, the vacuum, and the fireplace tools. I also keep a basket with our winter gear (hats/gloves/scarves) in it as well. I used to get so annoyed because tons of stuff would fall when I would try to get a pair of gloves or a hat for the boys. It was just too jammed pack and disorganized. Much better now! I also cleaned the windows in the living room and the kitchen, inside and out! It's amazing how clear and nice they look. Why did it take me so long to do this?!?! Today I let the boys play outside for a bit and I swept the garage. Nice! I sorted through my 3-6 month clothes for Isaac and cleaned out his closet. I've done at least 5 loads of laundry in the last two days. I still have a million things to do, but at least I've started. Maybe I'll skip my nap all week....just imagine what will get done! :) I sure do love a clean house.

Isaac's 2 Month Appt.

Isaac had his two month appointment this morning. Here are his stats:

12 lbs 3 oz (75%)
23 1/2 inches (70%)

He is growing well! I'm so glad! He did have to get 5 shots...poor baby! He has been hurting today and crying a lot...I feel bad for him.

I've been tagged...So apparently I have to tell 10 random things about me! This should be interesting!!!

1. I teach online for Sylvan Learning Centers about 8 hours a week. I've been doing this a little each week (not including summers) since Drew was about 4 months old. I really enjoy it!

2. We are going to Phoenix in May to visit Michael's brother and his wife and our niece and nephew. I'm super's been too long since we've had our families together. Oh, and just so happens that Michael's mom will be there the same time!

3. My brother is getting married in April...and I'm a bridesmaid. I just got the dress yesterday, and it didn't fit. Sadness! Luckily, David's Bridal was awesome and I exchanged it for the right size and it will be here in plenty of time.

4. We are having a major garage sale in April or May. I'm going room by room and collecting items for it. I did the kitchen cabinets have never been so clean and organized! :)

5. I haven't had my haircut since June. Isn't that awful! It needs one BAD! I have a call into a lady to cut it for me! We've been playing phone tag for a week now!

6. I actually got some good sleep last night...Isaac gave me an 8 hour stretch. I'm hoping it keeps up, but we'll see!

7. I really like to clean....strange, huh? Nothing makes me feel more productive than getting a lot of housework done in a day!

8. I love being the mom of 3 boys...they are great! They make me laugh (and want to cry) several times a day! I like being the matriarch of the family! :) (Thanks for the corrections, Mom!)

9. I have started running again. Not much, but a little. Starting on Friday, my goal is to run 14 miles a week...we'll see what happens!!!

10. I love Jesus. I think I fall more and more in love with Him and His word everyday. I love that He loves me and blesses me in incredible ways. I love that He is the center of my marriage. I love that He has my best interest at heart.... I just love HIM!

Now it's my turn to tag someone....I'm going to tag Allison, Jenni, and Sara.
