Last Wednesday we began our 1200 mile trek west to our new home, Colorado Springs, Colorado. We were extremely blessed to have six of our former students make the journey with us. They were amazing…helped with the driving, the kids, the unloading, the unpacking, our hearts…saying good-bye to them on Saturday night was absolutely gut wrenching. But the Lord is good, and as always, He continues to affirm this adventure in every way. Our new home is beyond perfect for our family and for the ministry we hope to hold here. Our kids have adjusted incredibly well…well, poor Lindley is still on Eastern time…but hopefully she'll adjust soon! They have met tons of new friends already and even ask for some of the kids by name! Drew is now registered for Kindergarten and starts next Wednesday. I'm in the process of researching preschools for Noah. Isaac has exploded with words and is communicating with all of us now.
I have tons more to update, and I will soon! I'm still looking for my camera cord, and as soon as I find it, I'll start posting pictures!
I'm so sorry that I have been awful at blogging. I hope once we are settled and "at home" here, I can update more regularly. :)
