January 30th…really?  Is that really the last time I sat in this seat and began typing thoughts?  Experiences?  Tidbits about my kids?  Wow…I'm sorry!  Hope I haven't been leaving any of you longing for my words…except my Mom. :)

So much has happened since January 30.  I don't even know where to begin.  Since that date, we have gone to Arizona for a week to spend Spring Break with family; Noah turned SEVEN; Drew turned NINE; I witnessed my first birth (sweet baby Ella); Drew played Flag Football; Michael and I ran another Half Marathon; we bought a house and moved; our Arizona family came to visit Colorado…and so much more.

But the event that has happened since then and the event that has altered me most, is that my sweet Granny passed away on a Wednesday afternoon in late June.  I was able to spend nine days with my Granny before she breathed her last breath.  Nine gloriously HARD days with a woman that I have loved fiercely for 35 years.  It was so hard, so sad, but I am so grateful that I had those nine days to love on her and care for her the way she has always loved on me and cared for me.

I have so much more to say about Granny.  So many beautiful pictures to share.  So many thoughts that I really haven't even let my mind think yet.  I will do that another day…

And another day I will share our new beautiful home…

…and talk about Drew's awesome season as a football player…

…and tell you about witnessing the baby who birthed herself…

…and share pictures and stories of our trip to Arizona…

…and vice versus…their trip to Colorado…

…and reflect on Drew and Noah turning a year older…

…and tell you how Isaac learned how to swim this summer AND how he taught HIMSELF how to ride a bike on Saturday…

…and I'm sure I'll think of *something* to share about the princess…
